GLUTEN
Hi, I just wanted to post this because it's something I've noticed myself. I am an on-again off-again "light" smoker who used to smoke 2 packs a day. I am also likely addicted to the exorphins found in gluten (which is a content of wheat oats, barley and rye),quit smoking, also known as gluten intolerance.I have been avoiding eating gluten for a while, but occasionally I will eat some as I crave it. I notice that when I eat gluten, I feel immediately like smoking. I also remember that after eating a meal was when I most "needed" a smoke when I was a fulltime smoker. Especially Italian food which is a gluten and exorphin "festival". Gluten intolerance is thought - by some - to be majorly underdiagnosed - and as much as 15 to 18% of the population may have it. My theory is that people who have trouble quitting may in fact be undiagnosed gluten sufferers and they smoke cigarettes to increase dopamine to counter the sleepy feeling which is incurred by consuming gluten. So if you take away the gluten, you take away the need for dopamine, and thus quitting smoking becomes easier.I am not a doctor, this is anecdotal from me, it's just something that I have noticed clearly in my own habits - so if you are trying to quit,Herbal cigarettes, why not also not eat any gluten-containing foods (i.e. instead of eating bread eat rice or potato) and see if it makes the quitting smoking process easier.TRY IT - I really hope it helps someone..
